BTC Inks Strategic Partnership with NTPC for Digital Literacy Centers in Bodoland

Pramod Boro, Chief Executive Member (CEM) of Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC), presided over the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the BTR Government and the National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) Ltd. The partnership aims to establish five Bodoland Digital Literacy and Counseling Centers across the Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR). Boro emphasized the significance of collaborations with notable organizations and foundations for social development, praising NTPC’s commitment to supporting educational initiatives. These centers, located in various districts, aim to address the digital and career-oriented skilling needs of school children, youth, job-seekers, and farmers, contributing to the post-conflict revitalization program in BTR. The initiative aligns with the BTC government’s efforts to transform the educational landscape and establish Bodoland as a hub of educational excellence. The signing ceremony was attended by key officials, including the Executive Director of NTPC-Salakati, Karunakar Das, and Executive Members of BTC.
