Cachar Police Seize Yaba Tablets Worth Rs 27 Crore

Cachar Police seized 90,000 Yaba tablets worth around Rs 27 crore during an anti-narcotics operation in Rongpur under Silchar Police Station on Monday. The drugs were recovered from a secret chamber of a truck coming from a neighbouring state, leading to the arrest of two persons. Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma praised the operation, while police said further investigation is underway to trace forward and backward linkages.
