Caretaker Arrested for Murder of Elderly Woman in Guwahati

Guwahati Police solved the murder of 71-year-old Bandana Das within 24 hours, arresting her caretaker Ratul Das. He confessed to slitting her throat on July 1 due to personal resentment and alcohol influence. Ratul entered the house by scaling a wall and attacked her while she slept. He later tried to mislead police with a false story. His wife, Kunjalata Das, is also charged for concealing the crime.
