CBI Arrests Airtel Manager in Assam for SIM Card Scam

The CBI arrested Airtel sales manager Debashish Doley in Silchar for allegedly selling unauthorized SIM cards used in cybercrimes like digital arrest scams. Two middlemen were also held. Investigators said “ghost SIMs” were issued using fake e-KYC processes and later sold to cybercriminals for fraud and mule bank accounts. Raids in Cachar seized phones, devices, and KYC papers.
