CBI Arrests Middleman in CGST Bribery Case in Tezpur

The CBI arrested Aniket Pareek for accepting a Rs 3 lakh bribe on behalf of CGST Inspector Rakesh Jangid in Tezpur, Assam. Jangid allegedly demanded Rs 5 lakh from a hardware store owner. Pareek was caught in a CBI trap while taking the remaining bribe. Searches in Assam and Rajasthan recovered Rs 9 lakh in unaccounted cash and incriminating documents from Pareek’s premises.
