Central Government Approves Three New Industrial Parks in Assam

The Central Government has approved the establishment of three industrial parks in Assam’s Tingkhong, Tamulpur, and Karimganj under the Scheme of Small and Medium Enterprises. These projects, totaling nearly ₹65.5 crore, are part of a broader initiative, including 12 projects in the North East and Sikkim. The Central Government will fund a significant portion, with contributions from the State Government as well. The new parks aim to boost Assam’s industrial sector, fostering economic growth and job creation.
