Chirang Set for Major Infrastructure and Educational Upgrades: Minister Ranoj Pegu
Chirang district is set for significant growth, announced Tribal Affairs Minister Ranoj Pegu at a recent event. He unveiled a ₹2 crore Tribal Rest House in Chapaguri, funded under Article 275. Pegu also shared plans for a ₹8 crore renovation of the Kashikotra higher secondary school under the NESID scheme.
In Bwirajhora, Bamungaon, Pegu inaugurated two RCC cell bridges, aimed at improving connectivity and boosting economic growth. He further mentioned that the recruitment of 1,500 teachers is nearing completion, managed by the BTC administration.
