CM Launches Tea Tourism Project in Assam

CM Himanta Biswa Sarma launched a tea tourism project to promote Assam’s tea heritage. The Durrung Tea Estate bungalow in Sonitpur has been converted into a luxury hotel by Postcard Hotel Group. Sarma said the initiative will boost tourism, create jobs, and promote local culture. The hotel has already received full bookings from October to December at ₹30,000 per day.
