CM Sarma Announces Job Appointments, Major Projects in Facebook Live

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Tuesday announced a series of government job appointments and major infrastructure initiatives during a Facebook Live interaction. Appointment letters for health department posts will be issued on December 22, followed by tea garden community jobs on December 23. Grade IV ADRE appointments are set for January 10, Grade III around January 15, and other departmental recruitments by February 10.

The Chief Minister said Assam has completed nearly 1.5 lakh government job appointments without any court cases. He also confirmed Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit on December 20, during which major aviation projects will be announced at Guwahati airport. Union Home Minister Amit Shah will visit on December 29 to inaugurate key projects and lay the foundation stone of the new Assam Legislative Assembly complex in Dibrugarh.

CM Sarma further stated that 75,000 youths will benefit under the Atmanirbhar Assam Abhiyan, with support expected after January 15.
