CM Sarma Confident of BJP Lead in BTC Polls

Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma on Monday said BJP will emerge as the single largest party in the September 22 BTC elections. He called for a “triple engine government” with BJP, UPPL, and BPF for Bodoland’s progress. Sarma noted fewer violence incidents this poll season, terming the campaign a “festival.” He dismissed Congress as having “zero” prospects while stressing inclusive development in industry, tourism, and agriculture.
