CM Sarma Inaugurates 100-Bed Hospital in Hamren

On Maha Shashti, CM Himanta Biswa Sarma inaugurated a 100-bed district hospital at Hamren, West Karbi Anglong. Built under NHM for ₹30 crore, the hospital will soon add a CT scanner, dialysis unit, blood bank, and caesarean facilities. Sarma also announced a GNM nursing school at the site, enabling local women to study nursing. He praised healthcare workers and highlighted upcoming projects, including a cancer hospital in Diphu.
