CM Sarma Urges Six Communities to Suspend ST Status Protests

Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma appealed to six communities demanding ST status — Moran, Motok, Koch-Rajbongshi, Adivasi, Chutia, and Tai Ahom — to halt protests, warning agitations could delay the process. He assured that efforts are progressing positively and updates will be presented in the November Assembly session.
