Coffee Cultivation Boost in Assam with Training for New Growers

Thirty-one individuals have shown interest in growing coffee in Assam’s Karbi Anglong and West Karbi Anglong districts. To support them, the Regional Coffee Research Station in Diphu is conducting two training sessions on nursery management. The first session was held on January 30, 2025, with positive feedback, while the second is scheduled for February 4. Each session, limited to 15 participants, provides hands-on guidance. The initiative aims to enhance coffee production and create sustainable livelihoods in the region.
