Congress Launches Public Drive to Shape ‘Bor Asom’ Manifesto

The Assam Congress has begun a public outreach campaign to draft a manifesto based on the idea of an inclusive ‘Bor Asom’.

APCC chief Gaurav Gogoi said opposition parties will meet people across the state this month to gather inputs and may hold a joint convention in January.

He accused the current government of ignoring public consultation and said the manifesto will reflect aspirations of youth, workers, and all communities.
