Congress MLAs Skip Assam CM Swearing-In Ceremony

No Congress MLA attended the swearing-in ceremony of Himanta Biswa Sarma on Tuesday. Assam Pradesh Congress Committee president Gaurav Gogoi had earlier said the party would boycott the event, calling it extravagant and political in nature.

Raijor Dal MLA Akhil Gogoi also skipped the ceremony, claiming that he did not receive an invitation letter.
