Congress Protests After Attack on MP Pradyut Bordoloi’s Convoy in Dhing

After the attack on Congress MP Pradyut Bordoloi’s convoy in Dhing, party leaders submitted a memorandum to Assam DGP Harmeet Singh. Congress accused the police of law and order failure and alleged BJP involvement. The party demanded free and fair Panchayat elections, warning of protests otherwise. Nagaon Police identified Imdadul Islam, a suspended Congress worker, as the prime suspect behind the attack.
