Contract Workers Protest Over Wage Delays at Chabua Air Force Station

Chabua: Hundreds of contract workers of Chabua Air Force Station staged a bike rally and protest on Friday, demanding job security, payment of pending wages, higher salaries, and PF and ESIC benefits.

The workers alleged that many have not received salaries for several months, causing severe financial hardship. Under the banner of the Chabua Regional Contract Workers Union, they submitted a memorandum to authorities and warned of intensified agitation if their demands are not addressed.
