Convention centre to be built at Adabari by the Guwahati Municipality Corporation

The Guwahati Municipality Corporation (GMC) is considering building a cutting-edge convention centre in Adabari. The construction of this infrastructure, which will resemble a mall, is scheduled to coincide with the growth of the Adabari Market.

Senior representatives of the local urban body stated that the company is already considering concepts for redeveloping Guwahati’s Adabari Market in addition to the other markets. Currently in the concept stage and contingent on funding for building, the GMC intends to grow the market using a mall-style model, assigning vendors spaces within the complex.
