Cotton University Shines at National Youth Festival ‘Hunar’

A 37-member contingent from Cotton University, Assam, made the state proud by securing numerous accolades at the 37th Inter-University National Youth Festival, ‘Hunar,’ held at Ludhiana Agricultural University. Among over 120 participating universities from eight zones across India, Cotton University excelled in various events, winning several prizes including first, second, and third places in categories like Light Vocal Indian Solo, Mime, Debate, and more. Additionally, the university was recognized as the overall second runner-up in the literary category. Led by faculty members Dr. Muktikam Hazarika and Dr. Deepjyoti Kalita, the team showcased outstanding talent and dedication. This success adds to Cotton University’s previous achievements, demonstrating its excellence in academics, research, and cultural endeavors.
