Cotton University Shines at North East Zone Inter-University Youth Festival

Students of Cotton University won multiple top prizes at the 39th Inter-University North East Zone Youth Festival held in Assam from February 16 to 20, 2026. The team secured first prizes in events including quiz, folk and tribal dance, one-act play, creative dance, Indian instrumental and classical vocal solo.

Cotton University was also named Best Team in the dance section and finished runner-up in literary and second runner-up in music categories. The university will now represent the Northeast at the national-level Inter-University Youth Festival in Chennai in March 2026.
