Cotton University students upset over eviction of food stalls in Guwahati

After the eviction of food stands near the university, Cotton University (CU) students urged the mayor of Guwahati to take alternative action. The recent eviction in close proximity to the university has created significant issues for the students, as it is now challenging for them to eat lunch in a distant location during brief breaks.

The Cotton College Students’ Union had threatened to stage a protest against the planned construction of a Khao Gully next to their campus when the GMC decided to evict them.
