Daniel Langthasa Launches ‘People’s Party’ in Dima Hasao

Former MAC and Sixth Schedule Protection Committee convenor Daniel Langthasa announced the launch of a new political outfit, the People’s Party, in Dima Hasao. The party aims to protect Sixth Schedule rights and promote people-centric governance. Langthasa confirmed his candidacy from the reserved Haflong constituency in the upcoming Assam Assembly election.
