Dengue Outbreak Worsens in Guwahati, Residents Alarmed

Guwahati is facing a rising dengue outbreak, alarming residents as cases steadily increase. The Zoo Road area has reported a significant surge, while Bhaskar Nagar, Karbi Path, Ambikagiri Nagar, and Bamunimaidam Railway Colony have been designated as ‘Red Zones’ due to high infection rates. Hospitals, including KGMT Hospital, are treating 30 to 40 dengue patients daily, yet many residents feel local authorities are not addressing the crisis adequately.
