Development Push in Barak Valley as PM Modi and CM Sarma Launch Key Projects

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch several major development projects in Silchar, including the Panchgram–Barapani high-speed expressway, Silchar flyover, an Agriculture College at Patharkandi, and railway electrification works. After the PM’s programme, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma will inaugurate the Barak Valley Secretariat at Srikona and a new Circuit House in Hailakandi. He will also lay foundation stones for multiple projects and later inaugurate the District Convention Centre at Silcoorie, aiming to boost infrastructure and administrative facilities across the Barak Valley.
