DGP Reviews Security in Jagun After ULFA-I Attack, Assures Strong Action

Assam DGP Harmeet Singh visited the Jagun commando camp after a suspected ULFA-I attack injured four personnel.

Militants fired 4–5 RPGs in a surprise assault on Sunday night. Three commandos suffered splinter injuries, while one with burn injuries was shifted to GMCH.

Singh reviewed the security situation, met the injured, and assured strict legal action. He will also hold a key security meeting in Tinsukia.
