Dhubri Excise Department Seizes liquor Worth Rs 1 Crore

The Dhubri Excise Department conducted a successful operation across the district, seizing contraband worth Rs 1 crore. Led by Superintendent of Excise Bedang Bhusha Saikia, the team confiscated 72.225 litres of illegal foreign liquor and 54.600 litres of beer in the Binpati area, estimated at Rs 1,30,000. Additionally, illegal liquor and vehicles valued at over Rs 1 crore were also seized, reflecting the department’s commitment to curbing illicit activities in the region.
