Dhubri Lags Behind in HSLC 2026, Highlights Education Gaps

Dhubri recorded a low pass percentage of 50.02% in HSLC 2026, well below the state average of 65.62%. Out of 25,855 students, only 12,933 passed.

Most successful candidates fell in second and third divisions, indicating weaker academic performance overall.

Experts link the poor results to inadequate infrastructure, teacher shortages, and socio-economic challenges limiting access to quality education.

In contrast, Dima Hasao topped the state with 88.23%, highlighting regional disparities.
