Dhubri Police Official Arrested for Supplying Fake Police Reports

A Dhubri police official, Lance Nayak Akbar Ali, and a local DTP shop owner were arrested for allegedly creating fake police reports used for obtaining driving licenses. The arrests, made after a raid on the shop near the District Transport Office, have sparked concerns about internal corruption within the police. The accused are currently under interrogation, while the police have yet to comment on the ongoing investigation. This incident follows a similar case in July involving another officer detained for forgery and illegal money collection in Dhubri.
