Dibrugarh University Gets ₹200 Crore Upgrade Boost

Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma laid the foundation for over ₹200 crore worth of projects at Dibrugarh University on Thursday. Funded under the CM’s Special Grant and PM-USHA, the initiatives aim to modernise academic, residential, and research infrastructure. Dr Sarma urged universities to align courses with market needs and stressed skill development for global employment. A second phase worth ₹50 crore is under consideration.
