Dispur College Holds Cyber Fraud Awareness Workshop

Dispur College organised a cyber fraud awareness workshop titled “Combating Cyber Fraudulence: Awareness Workshop on Sanchar Saathi” ahead of World Telecommunication and Information Society Day 2026.

The programme was conducted in collaboration with the Department of Telecommunications, Government of India. Officials highlighted the growing threat of cyber fraud and explained the benefits of the Sanchar Saathi initiative for reporting suspicious communications and securing telecom services.

Experts also stressed the importance of digital awareness and responsible online behaviour among students during the interactive session.
