Dispur Police Arrest Man for Attack on Woman in Guwahati

In a significant development, Dispur police have successfully arrested Amit Bhowmick, who was accused of attacking a woman in Guwahati. Bhowmick had been on the run after attacking the woman with a sharp weapon in the Beltola locality of Guwahati following her rejection of his love proposal. He was apprehended in West Bengal and is currently in the custody of Dispur Police. Bhowmick will be produced before the court today.
