Earthquake and Cyclonic Storm Trigger Panic, Cause Damage in Cachar

A 4.3-magnitude earthquake struck Cachar district on Sunday morning, causing panic as residents rushed outdoors. No major damage was reported from the tremor.

Shortly after, a strong cyclonic storm hit Silchar and nearby areas, uprooting trees, damaging infrastructure, and disrupting power supply. Several areas faced road blockages and prolonged outages.
