Elvis Ali Hazarika Becomes First Assamese to Complete English Channel Relay Swim

Swimmer Elvis Ali Hazarika has become the first Assamese to complete a relay swim across the English Channel, finishing the 13-hour feat successfully. This marks his 14th sea crossing. Hazarika, who previously completed a two-way solo Channel swim in 2023, now prepares for an ice swim in Antarctica—potentially making him the first Asian to achieve it.
