EVM Glitch Delays Voting in Dhubri, Assam

The electoral process in Dhubri faced an unexpected delay as a malfunction in an Electronic Voting Machine (EVM) hindered voting at Polling Station No. 110 in the 8-Dhubri Assembly Constituency. The glitch caused a delay of around an hour and twenty minutes, with voting commencing at 8:20 AM instead of the scheduled time of 7:00 AM. This inconvenience affected voters who arrived early to cast their ballots. As of 9:00 AM, the voter turnout in Dhubri was reported to be 10.75%.
