Fake Surgeon Arrested Inside Silchar Charitable Hospital OT

Pulak Malakar, posing as a gynecologist, was arrested inside the OT of Shiv Sundari Nari Shiksha Sevashram Hospital, Silchar. He performed surgeries without any valid medical degree or license. Despite the hospital’s reputed status, including oversight by former MP Dr Rajdeep Roy, Malakar’s actions went unnoticed for a long time. Cachar SSP confirmed his arrest with forged documents and said legal action is underway.
