Family Attacked by Armed Gang in Dibrugarh

A 12-member gang assaulted a family near Chaulkhowa railway station in Dibrugarh late Tuesday night. The attackers, armed with sharp weapons, stormed into the home of local resident Biki Ali, leaving one person severely injured and three others, including a minor, with varying injuries.

The assailants broke into the house around 2 am, attacking Ali and his family. The Dibrugarh police arrived the next morning to provide medical assistance and begin an investigation. The motive for the attack is still unknown, but the family has reportedly identified the attackers.
