Fatal Collision Between Two Trucks in Karimganj Claims One Life

A horrific collision between two trucks claimed the life of Shankar Das, a driver from Tripura, on Sunday morning in the Karimganj district of Assam. The incident occurred on the Assam-Tripura National Highway near Hawdar Beel in the Chargola area. The high-speed impact left Shankar Das with fatal injuries, and he was declared dead at the scene despite swift emergency response. The driver of the other truck fled the scene, and his whereabouts are currently unknown. Police have launched an investigation and are searching for the absconding driver.
