Father and Son Electrocuted in Tragic Incident in Assam’s Goalpara District

In Lakhipur, Assam’s Goalpara district, a father and son tragically died after being electrocuted. The incident occurred in Barumari Village, where a bent solar light pole, affected by recent floods, made contact with a high-voltage wire. Bireshwar Hajong was electrocuted after accidentally touching the wire, and his son, Ramendra, also died while trying to save him. The incident has left the village in deep sorrow. Police have recovered the bodies and sent them for post-mortem.
