Father Dies After Alleged Brutal Assault by Family Members

Ajijul Haque from Sootea reportedly died after being severely beaten by his wife and three sons on January 16. The family allegedly dragged him unconscious behind a motorcycle before taking him to the hospital. Despite being referred to multiple medical facilities, Ajijul succumbed to his injuries. His brother has filed an FIR, and the police are investigating the incident. Neighbors stated that Ajijul was an alcoholic and frequently caused disturbances at home.
