A major fire broke out in Williamnagar market, East Garo Hills, on Saturday, destroying over 15 shops. The fire, which originated from two points, was extinguished by 3:00 AM. No casualties or injuries were reported. Authorities are investigating the cause, with an electrical short circuit suspected. CCTV footage is also being reviewed to rule out arson.
