FITMA Formed to Unite Bought Leaf Tea Manufacturers Across India

Bought leaf tea manufacturers from Assam, North Bengal, and South India formed the Federation of Indian Tea Manufacturers Association (FITMA) to unite their voices and goals. Deven Singh was elected chairman. The move followed ABLTMA’s annual meeting, where its office-bearers were re-elected and the executive body expanded. Awards were given to Rameshbhai Patel and Jadav Payeng for their contributions.
