Five Arrested in Tiger Killing Case at Barbil, Over 100 Suspected Involved

Five people have been arrested for killing a tiger at Barbil in Golaghat district’s Budhe Chapori. While two were nabbed by forest officials, three were held by Dergaon Police. Over 100 people are suspected to be involved. Despite prior forest alerts, the tiger wasn’t captured, leading to the killing. Investigations are ongoing.
