Flight Services Resume at Rupsi Airport After Year-Long Pause
Flight operations from Rupsi Airport to Kolkata and Guwahati resumed after nearly a year, fulfilling a long-standing demand of Dhubri residents. Suspended since November 2023, flights are now operated by Alliance Air under the UDAN scheme, with services three times a week. The relaunch was inaugurated by Minister Urkhao Gwra Brahma. The 72-seater ATR-72 aircraft will benefit students, business professionals, and patients needing quicker travel. Plans to increase flights to five days a week are expected later this year.
