Flipkart Expands Supply Chain, Jobs, and Seller Support in Northeast

Flipkart has announced major expansions in Assam and the Northeast, boosting supply chain capacity, festive-season readiness, and community partnerships. The e-commerce giant has built over 6 lakh sq. ft. of warehousing in Guwahati, launched a grocery fulfilment centre in Agartala, and activated nine Micro Fulfillment Centers in Guwahati. With 391 hubs across the region and over 1 lakh sellers in Assam, Flipkart is also supporting 300+ farmers under its Samarth Krishi initiative. Ahead of the festive season, the company has created 2.2 lakh seasonal jobs, focusing on inclusive hiring and skilling.
