Flood Situation Persists in Three Assam Districts, Over 1,500 People Affected

Guwahati: Flood conditions continue in Dibrugarh, Dhemaji and Lakhimpur districts, affecting 1,541 people across 46 villages, according to the Assam Disaster Reporting and Information Management System (DRIMS). Over 1,659 hectares of cropland have been submerged, while the Dikhou River at Sivasagar is flowing above the danger level. No human casualties have been reported, and authorities are continuing relief and monitoring efforts.
