Former BJP MLA Resigns, Alleges Party’s Ideological Shift

Aminul Haque Laskar, former BJP MLA and ex-Deputy Speaker of the Assam Legislative Assembly, made headlines as he resigned from the BJP’s primary membership ahead of the Lok Sabha elections. Laskar cited the party’s loss of political ideology as the reason for his departure.
