Former PM Manmohan Singh Passes Away at 92

Former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh passed away at AIIMS Delhi on Thursday at the age of 92 due to age-related health issues. He was declared dead at 9:51 PM after emergency medical efforts failed.

Manmohan Singh served as India’s Prime Minister from 2004 to 2014 and was a key architect of the 1991 economic reforms. His tenure left a lasting impact on India’s economic and political landscape.

PM Narendra Modi and Congress leaders Sonia Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra mourned his passing, highlighting his wisdom, humility, and contributions to governance. Singh is survived by his wife, Gurcharan Kaur, and three daughters.
