Four-Day ‘NAT Workshop’ Introduces Gauhati University Students to Theatre

Guwahati: A four-day ‘NAT Workshop’ was inaugurated on August 14 at Gauhati University to provide students interested in theatre and acting with practical exposure to different aspects of the performing arts.

The workshop was jointly organised by Natya Parishad, Gauhati University and SAKOW, Guwahati, in collaboration with the Gauhati University Postgraduate Students’ Association. Artists from Assam’s film and theatre community participated as instructors, guiding students on areas including playwriting and acting.

The programme aimed to give participating students an opportunity to learn from experienced practitioners while developing their understanding of theatre and performance.
