Free Legal Aid Clinic Launched at Sonajuli Tea Estate

A Free Legal Aid Clinic was inaugurated at Sonajuli Tea Estate, Rangapara, as part of NALSA’s initiative to set up 46 such clinics across Assam. Justice Suryakant led the virtual launch, with CM Himanta Biswa Sarma and Union Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal attending. The clinics aim to provide free legal services to economically weaker sections in tea garden areas and promote dispute resolution. Local officials and estate representatives participated, highlighting the importance of legal awareness among workers.
