Gauhati High Court Questions Assam Assembly Over MLA Disqualification Delay

The Gauhati High Court has issued a notice to the Speaker and Secretary of the Assam Legislative Assembly, seeking an explanation for the delay in disqualifying MLA Sherman Ali Ahmed, who was suspended by the Congress. The notice was issued in response to a petition filed by former deputy CLP leader Rakibul Hussain.
